Faceclaim: Yato - Noragami Height/Weight: 5'8" / 165 Lbs Physical Description: Dark hair, but icy blue eyes, these are what most people think when they see Yato. He is tall, standing at around 5 ft 8 in. though this doesn’t mean he is built in a bulky manner, no Yato has lean muscle. Far from rippling, and not very attention catching, but they serve their purpose. His skin is pale, betraying the sheltered life he was forced to live, away from the violence the lower district will convey. His shoulders are not broad, adding to his rather lean appearance. His face is narrow, seeming to fit along with his lanky form. He doesn’t have very high or pronounced cheek bones, but they are there. His almond shaped eyes house a shining blue iris, one that betrays his best attempts at hiding his emotions. Usually when one looks into his eyes, they will see mirthful orbs, full of life and joy. But, on rare occasions during combat, his opponents will find an icy gaze that may freeze them in their tracks. And lastly, the unluckiest opponents receive a glare that is solely reserved for those who harm those Yato cares for. This glare will set your soul on fire, if looks could kill, this would murder your entire race. A soft, content smile usually graces those in the presence of Yato. While he has suffered some in his life, he wants nothing more than to relish life’s happy moments. While when he is annoyed, a scowl could show itself, this is usually replaced by a neutral annoyed look though. And finally, for those who truly piss him off, Yato shows a deep, hard scowl. This goes along with his angry glare quite… uh... angrily. Yato’s body is home to many scars showing the years of combat tempered marks that symbolize learning, improving and mistakes. His face is framed by onyx black hair, his bangs fall down covering his forehead. He has a thin nose, and also very slender fingers. Though he is not overly built, he has been training for many years and has a muscular chest and back, along with a slight six pack. His most powerful muscle though, would have to be his legs, it seems he was simply made for speed. Yato has a few different outfits from his many years of travel. Though his most common one would be a black gi with a mesh undershirt, covered by a dark hooded cloak. The cloak is black on the outside, but a rich red on its inside, its bottom is tattered showing many years of travel and even combat. It has a few tears but nothing too strenuous. Yato also wears a necklace with a single magatama on it. His other common outfit is used solely for training. It consists of short black pants that come down to just above the ankles, white socks and black sandals. He has a black long sleeve shirt, but he ties it around his waist, in order to be freer in his movements. He also feels like it looks cool, so that’s what he wears. His body has many scars, mostly on his back and chest. He has a few along his arms, but nothing too major. He also has a couple tattoos. His most prominent ones are located on each shoulder, and are merely tribal based tattoo designs. But he has another one right at the back of his neck, just below his hairline, it is the kanji for Duality. Costume Description: Costume : His costume consists of a few parts. The first being a red hooded cloak that covers his body and aids in disguising his movements and what he has on. This goes over his actual costume which is a black bodysuit that has several different attachments on the gloves. There is an attachment that emits a small spark, one that shoots a small stream of water, one that emits fire and one that releases a gust of air. These are used in conjunction with his powers. There is also a mask that has air filtration, allows underwater respiration as well as degrees of night vision.
Personality
Dislikes: Waiting, Liars, Bullies, Fakes Likes: Sweets, Fighting, Taking walks, His friends Flaws: He sees everything in black and white, if you do good, you are a hero. If you do bad, you are a villain. He finds that getting Bureaucratic red tape in the way only prevents the people who want to help from doing anything, while getting those who are only in it for money rich. Habits: He has a habit of being too early for meetings or anything, really. Fears: You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become a villain. He is terrified that one day he will be seen as a villain as opposed to a hero Goals: His goal is to do what is right, regardless of what the laws or those who are deemed "heroes" say. Alignment: Lawful Neutral Overall Personality: Yato is a very serious person who enjoys the simple things. He likes to take walks through gardens and parks, it is one of his favorite things to be in nature. He feels a deep connection to the earth and the natural energy that flows around him. He has a photographic memory and enjoys making drawings or sculptures of things he has seen. He has a strong sense of justice and holds everyone to the same standard that he holds himself to, and will hold even the highest ranking hero's accountable for their mistakes if they don't own up to them.
History
Birthplace: Tokyo, Japan Current Residence: Tokyo, Japan Memorable Figures: None History: Yato was born in the slums. From the moment he could walk and was able to go places on his own, his mother had him running errands and things for their small family. His father had died just before he was born, killed as a result of collateral damage of a heroic battle against a villain. No, his father wasn't a hero, he wasn't anything really, just a lowly day laborer. He was at work when their building was destroyed. Their family was simply lost at the wayside while the hero was praised for capturing the villain. Yato didn't hate the hero, he knew he was just trying to stop someone from killing so many more people, but he didn't like the lack of accountability as the deaths of all of those workers were swept under the rug. As he grew up and developed his own quirk, he thought that maybe he could become a hero as well, someone who would save the day and do all they could to keep the collateral damages to a minimum. He had a lofty goal, but after training and pushing himself, he was able to do it. He was accepted into U.A. high school and was placed into the hero program. He was one of the youngest members of his class, but his quirk allowed him to keep up even with the older kids. As he went through those four years in school, all he could think about was becoming a pro hero. He made it through his internship, and his provisional phases with no problem and finally, he graduated. When he finally made it into the "real world" of being a hero, he was hit with some hard truths. One had to be a sidekick for a while before taking off truly on their own, and one had to be selected for that position. Well, given his powerful quirk, he was picked up rather fast. It was within his first year as a sidekick to his hero that the slums where he was born got attacked. He rushed to his hero for help, but was told that it was out of their area of jurisdiction and their insurance wouldn't cover them if they tried to help and something bad happened. So, he was forced to sit by the wayside while his family's district was attacked by a villain. Finally, he decided he would go regardless, he couldn't just let a villain run rampant due to some red tape! Once he arrived, he found his home destroyed, his mother dead and the villain still rampaging around killing and destroying as they saw fit. He flew into a rage and attacked, but was critically injured in the battle. It was then that he unlocked his second quirk, he shrunk the damage that was dealt to him from a deep gash to a small scratch. He was then able to heal it with his original quirk much faster. When they managed to find him, he was stripped of his license and told he could never be a hero again due to breaking the rules. it was then that he decided he would be his own brand of hero and became a vigilante.

Quirk Name: Amplify Quirk Type: Transformation/ Area Manipulation Description: The user can enhance, augment, increase and multiply something already existing. This specifically refers to physical matter and is not able to amplify spiritual, mental, emotional or conceptual things. Note that user cannot actually create anything, simply increase what exist, no matter how little there is. Weakness: - User cannot create matter, this must have something to work with before being able to use this power. - Only able to effect within a 50 meter radius. - User only able to amplify one thing at a time. Quirk Name: Reduce Quirk Type: Transformation/Area Manipulation Description: User can decrease, lessen or weaken any matter within a 50 meter radius. The user is not able to create or totally destroy any matter. Weakness: - User can only reduce physical matter, not emotional, mental, ect… - User cannot totally destroy something and can only reduce it to the equivalent of "1" - Only effective in a radius of 50 meters.
